God of the Impossible

The impossible for men is possible for God, an evident fact in MC’s* life, who despite human predictions to the contrary is seeing God's support for her calling. In her journey to reach the field, MC has not only had to battle with the processes of fundraising, visas, and learning two languages but also face misunderstanding, lack of commitment, and questioning from her own culture and community who are not open to cross-cultural missions and who believe that she is wasting her talents.
However, for MC the challenges have not stopped or discouraged her to obey her calling. On the contrary, they have driven her to train and continue, because as she says "I don't pretend to be excellent and successful for world filters, I strive to be an excellent professional for the extension of the Kingdom". She knows her reward comes from God and He is the One who has prepared her path from the beginning since finding an agency like Reflejo that understood her calling and dedicated mentors, time, and resources to help her develop it, to make it a reality to be in the field.
In May 2021, God put her on the path to Reflejo, the agency understood her calling and dedicated time and resources to help her develop it into a reality in the field. Her preparation schedule has included courses such as cultural sensitivity, language acquisition, fundraising, personal and cyber security, mobilization, self-care, etc., all in hopes of her thriving in the field.
Now, MC will be entering a context that has not yet been transformed by the Gospel in Central Asia, she remains clinging and focused on the promises of the Father because she knows that He has given the direction and strategy to fulfill the mission. She is excited to set foot on land, pray there for them, get accustomed to their culture, and get to know them in their environment. She dreams of mastering the language of her heart and making friends so that in God's perfect time she can share with them the truth of Jesus Christ and start a Gospel movement.
She knows there is more to come on the journey, opposition, sacrifice, and great effort, but she is certain that if she takes time to listen to the Holy Spirit she will receive direction, wisdom, and strategy to collaborate in creative and innovative ways to reach out to those who have not yet heard the Good News.
Contrary to what people think, MC knows that even though opposition may arise and the sacrifice and effort may be great, if the candidates dedicate themselves to listening to the Holy Spirit they will receive direction, wisdom, and strategy to collaborate in creative and novel ways to reach those who have not yet heard the Good News.
As MC, other Latinos have accepted the call to hard-to-reach places and are willing to cross-cultural, linguistic, and geographic barriers to bring the Gospel to others. But, the task demands preparation, hard work, and facing cultural, spiritual, and economic challenges. Let's pray so that more candidates can join and reach the field, equipped with creative strategies to extend the Kingdom to the ends of the earth.
